Das Maskottchen des Labels, der „Monkey“, ist ein japanisches Spielzeug aus den 60er Jahren. Es ist heutzutage ein wertvolles Sammlerobjekt. Die beiden Freunde bringen jahrelange Erfahrung aus der Denim-Industrie mit in ihr neues, eigenes Label ein und haben einen extrem hohen Anspruch an ihre eigene Marke.

The relatively young label emerged in spring in 2012, built on a powerful fundament: the pure passion for jeans. Founded by Piero Turk and Rob Dunk, the label is meant to express criticism against the established ways of producing clothes in bulks. http://manicmonkeyjeans.com/
The mascot of the label, the “Monkey”, is a Japanese toy from the 60ies. Today it is a precious collector’s item. Turk and Dunk founded the label with the help of their experience, which they have gained in the denim industry for years. Therefore, they follow extremely high standards, which they project on their label.

The jeans are fabricated in a small factory in Italy. Each pair is made by hand and undergoes a long and challenging production process. Via this laborious process, unique pants can be produced with individual vintage looks. They will always be able to stand the test of time.
