In der „Tafelrunde“ betritt man ein Restaurant, welches es so nur einmal in Berlin gibt. Es ist ein Mittelalter-Restaurant, das einem tatsächlich das Gefühl gibt, man wäre König Arthus, der gerade mit seinen Rittern nach einem blutigen Feldzug an der Tafel sitzt um zu speisen. http://www.tafelrunde-berlin.de
Bedient wird man von Bänkelsängern, sowie schönen Mägden und seine Tischmanieren lässt man draußen vor der Tür…also ganz wie zu Zeiten der Lutheraner! Manieren, die man heute wahrscheinlich eher als sexuelle Belästigung bezeichnen würde, gehörten im Mittelalter zum guten Ton. In der Tafelrunde kann man abschalten und den Knecht und die Maid raus lassen, denn in der Tafelrunde sind die Uhren wirklich vor 400 Jahren stehen geblieben. Es wird mittelaltermäßig getellert und gebechert und ordentlich gefeiert. Mit knapp 45€ oder besser gesagt 45 Goldstücken ist die Tafelrunde ein Sommernachtstraum aus einer besseren Zeit.
Für die kleinen und großen Ritter gibt es ein ganzes 6-Gänge Menü mit All u can drink, welches man nur als königlich bezeichnen kann.
Vom Burgunderochsenbraten über den Krustenbraten, bis zum Landspanferkel und dem Enten- oder Gänsebraten, gibt es hier deftige Hausmannskost in Perfektion und noch ein bisschen mehr. Denn selbst für die Vegetarier hat die Tafelrunde ein riesen 6 Gänge-Menü, bei dem selbst ein schwarzes Shetlandpony blass werden würde.
Alle, die auf der Suche nach etwas Außergewöhnlichem sind, die sollten auf keinen Fall ein Bankett in der Berliner Tafelrunde auslassen.
