Bereits in der Couture Kollektion von Georges Hobeika hatte sich ein Brautkleid eingeschlichen. Dies war aber noch nüchtern im Vergleich zu der wirklichen Brautmodenkollektion des Labels.
In der Brautmodenkollektion von Georges Hobeika herrscht ein ständiger Krieg. Es steht tugendhaftes Weiß gegen verführerisches Design. Schlussendlich gewinnt wohl keiner, oder beide.
Die Kleider erstrahlen in reinstem Weiß, das ist auch die einzige Konstante, die sich durch alle Designs zieht. Ansonsten sind sie von schlicht und mädchenhaft, über sexy bis hin zu überaus aufwändig in allen Facetten vorhanden.
Das Kleid ist trägerlos, das Oberteil eng und glänzend. Ab der Taille legt sich jedoch ein matter Stoff über die voluminösen Schichten an Stoff. Am Übergang ist eine Schleife platziert, welche die Braut zu einem echten Geschenk macht. Die Silhouette ist die einer typischen Prinzessin und das Kleid weiß, rein, unschuldig.
Eng anliegend, aufwändig verziert und überhaupt ganz anders, tritt ein weiteres ärmelloses Kleid auf. Über die Brust sind horizontale Falten, wie Treppen, nach oben gelegt. Diese Falten treten auch im unteren Teil des Kleides wieder auf. Dort führen sie vom Boden hoch in einem Bogen um die Hüften und auf der Rückseite vermutlich wieder hinunter. Dies betont die Hüften ungemein und damit auch die Weiblichkeit und Kraft der Braut. Auf dem Stoff zwischen den Bahnen sind Blumen und Ranken aufgestickt, während den Seiten entlang unter den Hüften der einfache Stoff verwendet wird.
Der Grund für die hohe Scheidungsrate ist wohl gefunden, mit Georges Hobeikas Brautkleidern möchte man ganz einfach immer und immer wieder heiraten.

In the bridal fashion collection by Goerges Hobeika there is a permanent war. It is the war between moral white and seducing design. In the end it seems there’s no winner, or they both are.
The dresses shine in the purest white, which is the only constant, which goes through the whole designs. Other than that they range from simple and girly to sexy and over to really time-consuming. The dresses really are multifaceted.
The dress is without straps and the upper part is tight and shining. However down from the waist a matte cloth lies over the voluminous layers of cloth. At the transition there’s a bow, which the makes the bride a real present. The silhouette is the one of a typical princess and the dress is white, pure and innocent.
Tight fitted, elaborately graced and completely different there’s another sleeveless dress. Horizontal wrinkles go from the chest like stairs. These wrinkles also appear in the lower part of the gown. They go up from the bottom like stairs straying to a bow around the hips and of the back they go down again. This complements the hips strongly and also the femininity and power of the bride. On the cloth between the tracks there are flowers and vines embroidered, while the simple cloth is used on the sides along the hips.
I guess we have found the reason all those divorces. With Georges Hobeikas bridal gowns you want to marry over and over again.
