Claire Goldsmith ist die Urenkelin des legendären Brillendesigners P. Oliver Goldsmith, über den ich euch schon berichtet habe. Das Talent liegt also in ihren Genen. Die Designerin lässt sich zum einen vom Erbe ihres Urgroßvaters inspirieren, zum anderen von der Geschichte Englands. Geboren und aufgewachsen ist die Brillendesignerin in London, ihre Modelle sind im coolen Vintage-Stil gehalten.
Das Label „Claire Goldsmith Eyewear“ gründete sie im Jahr 2010, um unter dem Namen Goldsmith eine neue Generation von Brillen zu designen. Ein Logo, aufgedruckt auf den Gestellen, sucht man vergebens. Claires Kreationen sollen sich komplett an den Stil und die Persönlichkeit des Trägers oder der Trägerin anpassen. Neben Sonnenbrillen bietet das Label CG auch normale Sichtbrillen an.
Genau wie ihr Urgroßvater präsentiert Claire Goldsmith eine umfangreiche Brillenkollektion. Manche der Rahmen sind klassisch, andere wiederum sehr ausgefallen. Der Retro-Look aber zieht sich durch die komplette Kollektion. Schlichte Farben, wie zum Beispiel Schwarz, stehen neben auffälligen Farbtönen, zum Beispiel grellem Blau oder leuchtendem Violett.
Jeder Rahmen ist in unterschiedlichen Farben erhältlich, der Träger hat also die Qual der Wahl, da alle Farben absolut umwerfend sind. Fakt ist außerdem, dass jedes Modell, jeder Rahmen, egal ob eckig, rund oder oval ein absoluter Hingucker ist und den individuellen Stil des Trägers unterstützt. So wird die Brille zum modischen Accessoire, das man eigentlich nicht mehr ablegen will.
Ihre eigene Handschrift behält die Designerin auch bei ihrer Sonnenbrillenkollektion bei. Cooler Vintage-Stil, auffällige Formen und tolle Farben sind hier Programm.

Claire Goldsmith is the great-grandchild of the legendary P. Oliver Goldsmith, a famous designer of glasses, who I mentioned in one of my previous articles. The talent literally is in her genes. The designer is inspired by the heritage of her great-grandfather on the one hand. On the other hand, the English history really fascinates her. Born and having grown up in London, her models are characterized by a cool vintage design.
The label “Claire Goldsmith Eyewear” was founded by her in the year 2010 in order to design a new generation of glasses under the name Goldsmith. However, a logo printed on the frames cannot be found. Claire’s creations are meant to adjust to the style and the personality of the wearer. Apart from sun glasses, the label CG also has ordinary spectacles in store.
Just like her great-grandfather, Claire Goldsmith offers a very extensive assortment of glasses. Some frames are very classical, others are very extraordinary. The retro look however pervades the entire collection. Plain colors such as black meet rather eye-catching colors including a luscious blue or a screaming violet.
Each frame is available in different colors. The wearer obviously has to suffer the agony of choice because all the colors are well-chosen and gorgeous. What is guaranteed is the fact that each model, each frame, no matter whether edgy, circular or oval is an ultimate eye-catcher and underlines the individual style of the wearer. In this way, the glasses become a fashionable accessory which you are not willing to take off anymore.
The designer always keeps her signature design which also applies to her sunglass collection: A cool vintage style, eye-catching shapes and wonderful colors are on the agenda.
