Camilla Skovgaards Schuhe sind aus keinem Magazin mehr wegzudenken. Sicherlich erinnert ihr euch an meinen letzten Post, wo ich euch Skovgaard als aufgehenden Stern am Designerhimmel vorstellte. Nun, die Tatsache, dass prominente Gesichter wie Halle Berry, Rihanna und Kristen Stewart die Schuhe vergöttern, sollte dann nicht mehr überraschend kommen. Ihr aktuelles Portfolio beinhaltet 176 Exemplare und wird in 33 Ländern verkauft.
Camilla bekam sogar den Queen Elizabeth Scholar Award für ihre exzellente Arbeit in London im Jahre 2007. Des Weiteren bekam sie den Accessories Designer of the Year Award bei ELLE Style Awards und DANSK Fashion Awards.
Im letzten Beitrag berichtete ich euch von der P.S. 2013 Kollektion. Könnt ihr euch noch an die Schuhe erinnern mit den rasierklingenartigen Sohlen? Nun, Camilla hat noch ordentlich einen draufgesetzt, seht selbst.
Auffallend bei der S.S. 13 Kollektion ist, dass Camilla teilweise auf einen Absatz verzichtete und sich ausschließlich auf die Sohle konzentrierte. Fast jedes Paar wies diese rasierklingenartigen Sohlen auf, die einen sowohl Halt aus auch Style geben. Wieder werden die verschiedensten Materialien eingesetzt. Im Vordergrund jedoch ist feinstes Leder in Beige, Schwarz aber auch Weiß.

Camilla was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Scholar Award for Excellence in British Craftsmanship, in London in 2007, and was nominated for the Swarovski Emerging Talent-Accessories award 2009 and for the Accessories Designer of the Year 2010 at the British Fashion Awards. Camilla won the Accessories Designer of the Year award at ELLE Style Awards 2010 and won Accessories Designer of the Year award at DANSK Fashion Awards in June 2011.
In my last post I wrote about last year’s P.S. 2013 Collection. Do any of you guys remember the razor-like soles I told you about? Well, if you liked it then wait for what comes now. Camilla managed to top this design and the results are just out of this world.
What captures my attention is how Camilla designed the new S.S.13 collection. She focuses predominately on the soles instead of the heels. Almost every pair from her new line has the razorshaped sole. The materials and colors are similar to the previous collection. High-quality leather is in the center of the whole operation. They come in beige, black and white.
